Merlins boom finally completed. The hardest part was getting the white paint off. Looking closely, a few spots of white paint can still be seen. Couldnt get a few spots off without taking off too much wood. Too many steps to write about them all. Mast completed, boom completed. Will be raising the mast and hoisting some sail in a day or so to make sure Ive got all the right fittings in the right places...and make sure my hoisting and lowering devices work right. Itll be a photo op, too, to be posted. Oh, had to completely re-engineer the gooseneck. Weather was warm enough to get anti-fouling paint on the keel. A good day!
