Merry Christmas: Up for grabs is a projection TV lens with an 85 mm diameter, and as many of you already know, focusing at about the same distance as the diameter. It is a tight-focus high-precision (detail) lens. These lenses are gems in the solar pyrography world. As projection TVs are retired due to advancing superior technology (LCD TVs), these lenses will become harder to find. Some say the gifts most remembered are the first and last received. In that spirit I offer this late winter solstice gift. I ask those who already own such a lens to stand down. I will neither risk running short of these lenses nor hoard them. I ask only that one of these accompany me in my pyre when I go, thus assuring I had one with me in the end. I will mail such a lens to the fifth individual to comment on this thread, anywhere in the world.
