Message fromClaire Cutins I am doing an Artist In Residence at the Peoples History Museum this week. At the end of the week we are having a Peoples Protest and I would love it if there were some representatives from the Peoples Assembly there as I think it is a really great campaign. At the protest there will be lots of different people protesting about different things as the theme is: Ideas Worth Fighting For. So while I might hold a Cut Trident Not Healthcare placard, you might hold a Save our NHS or No More Page 3 placard. It will be a bit like the 2010 cuts demos. It is an opportunity to raise awareness and get people to join your campaign. The protesters will meet on Friday 15 August at 5pm at the Peoples History Museum (Manchester) and at 5.15 we will March up to Lincoln Square where we will gather for speeches and music. There would be an opportunity for a representative from the Peoples Assembly to speak on the megaphone at this point.
