Id like to think its more important to others as well to learn sustainable skills and trades. Knowledge I can pass down to my son and I need to set the example. Simplifying and studying. No time but the now to make these positive changes to reenforce the knowledge being lost by generations. Ive seen a lot of good examples being set by friends and I know we can all do even more. My friend Dox has been a great inspiration to me lately and in some ways has opened my eyes to some of the knowledge I lack. Im learning so I can teach my son the honest survival skills I was never taught. Teaching him as best as I can to know empathy and to treat others how wed like to be treated. Raising and spending real quality time with my family is most important to me. I love them too much to spend all this time staring at a website where people debate and glorify to a boiling point of tension built up by some of the smallest and largest issues known to man. Its really tough on my psyche considering how sensitive I am and how much I care about humanity as a whole. Its heart breaking and Im tired of participating in that while trying to raise a child to the best of my ability. So I opt out of this for the time being. Next to my new found interest in food and survival, I mostly care about my extended family and friends well being. We all need to eat so gardening and studying healthy living takes priority.
