Mini baby AJ update: Before being admitted AJ was not a pacifier baby. Since being hospitalized we have gotten him to take the nuk pacifier in times when hes inconsolable. Since it had been so long since AJ had had a bottle, we werent surprised when he wouldnt accept it. We figured maybe he wasnt ready but my mom Deirdre Lynne Blackwell had another idea. Being as his pacifier is a nuk she went and bought a nuk bottle. AJ accepted the bottle and ate 2oz within an hour and a half. So AJ no longer takes the straight nipples, which we have a ton of, and will only accept the nuk bottles of which we only have 3. Go figure. lol But at least hes eating from a bottle so praise God for that! So far AJ continues to do well and being his happy self. His good days out beat the bad days. Hopefully the surgeon will be able to perform his surgery next week and be able to do what needs to be done! Thank you everyone for your continued love, support and prayers!
