Mkpat Enin Roads Are Now Death Traps.This morning over 400 Taxi cabs, Cyclists, Trailers,Tippers, and other categories of Transporters got trapped without any passage to Ikot Abasi or Eket. The worst hit were Workers hurrying to work and Traders rushing to the popular Ukam Market as Police men and Road Safety personnel roamed the entire area helplessly. All those who tried the un -tarred Village Roads suffered the ill luck of paying different tariffs as they passed through multiples of Road Blocks manned by dozens of youths whose main business was ,pay before you pass. Please those who are driving along Abak-Mkpat Enin Road to Eket or Ikot Abasi should exercise great care and caution until the only two Roads are mended. They are criticality dangerous for now.
