Model Summary (Sorry I cannot post graphics); The GFS does not develop Invest 95L it has it barely as a Depression. The GFS shows a TS 08/31 East of the Lesser Antilles, then has it as a Category 1 Hurricane (995 mb pressure) 09/02 NE of the Lesser Antilles, and as a weak Categrt 2 S.E of Bermuda then taking it out to sea (this is the current wave the NHC is watching off the coast of Africa). The GFS also picks up on another wave that will be moving off Africa behind the one that we currently have and has it as a TS on 08/31 over the Cape Verdes, and as a weak category 1 hurricane (997mb) on 09/02 W of the Cape Verdes (around 30 W). The GEM also does NOT develop Invest 95L past a depression. But as well shows a TS on 08/30 W of the Cape Verdes (aroudn 40 W), then has it as a Category 1 hurricane 08/31 east of the Lesser Antilles (still around 40 W) the GEM also has this as a Category 2 hurricane S.E of Bermuda but is towards the ending of its run. As always it is way too early to tell what is going to happen with the waves that come off Africa.
