Moisture form the low pressure offshore has pushed farther inland than earlier projected... Central VA could actually be in for some [minimal] accumulation (again part of the model back and forth game)... Richmond and points west are getting a funnel band of snow that could produce an inch locally, but generally about 0.25-0.5 inch; more than earlier projected. Points east of Richmond could easily see one inch, 2 inches locally. There will be very defining north-south lines with this snow event, however. This meaning that there will be geographically vertical bands of snow showers setting up that could drop an inch, but others that would make for a dusting. Stay safe out there!
