Molly, I LoVe this post!!!! I have been involved with Homeless Ministries for years being clean off meth & off the streets myself, and Im not ashamed to admit the dark ages I survived, & rose above! This clip PiSSeS me off & so does the COMPLETE DISREGARD OF THE HOMELESS BEING HUMAN & WERE NO BETTER THAN THEM! A persons situation hard times does not define them & your exactly right, everybody has their own story! Id trust a homeless person most of the time before Id trust anyone else! I hate it when people say just get a job, well maybe they could with a little guidance or little help or maybe even us spending $5 at Salvation Army to help them with an outfit for an interview! I mean doesnt 90% of us turn toward staffing agencies and friends to help us find work and help us get a job?!! Come on people! I chose to live in their shoes & know exactly what it feels like out there & have also had many people share in the prayer & giving of food & supplies with me! Gus Ruiz, Jeanette Row Dodds, Eugene Dodds Hull Moe, etc etc It amazes me that people have time to sit & listen to BS drama going on in life or complain about whatever comes to mind & be ungrateful for the air they breathe, food they eat, roof over their head, job they have & the shoes they walk in BUT they cant find the time to give even a small piece of their fortune (which is even just a value meal from McDs to the homeless) and ear to receive some REAL life situation & heart from someone on the streets!! I could go on & on but my pray this season is that everyone encounters a chance to have a change of mind, heart AND EGO toward the less fortunate & simply just struggling BEAUTIFUL equal people out here!!!! FYI SOME OF THEM HAVE MORE BEAUTIFUL, GENUINE, GIVING HEARTS THEN US BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND HAVING NOTHING TO APPRECIATE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! Happy Holidays!
