Mom, Omi Lilly, went home to be with the Lord a year ago last Friday. This weekend I have reflected on Mom’s life, the impact that she had on us, and the legacy that she left in so many people’s hearts and minds. I thank God for the mother that He gave me, and I remember so many blessings I have received from Him through both of my parents. Then I started looking at the many photos of my family (close and extended) around the house and I took a long walk down memory lane, even all the way back to when I was three and Lillita was my dearest buddy. I came to the undeniably firm conclusion that the Lord has been mighty good to me to give me such a wonderful family. God’s grace is far greater than I can grasp. What a pleasure it was to think of each of you and the impact you have had on my life, my heart and mind. I love you all.
