Mom Post We need advice. My fiance has two children from a previous relationship. They were never married but he is on both birth certificates. They live 45 minutes away from each other. The children are 19 months and 9 months old. They broke up when she was pregnant with the youngest. We got together right before the youngest was born. She has aliented him from the kids in the past, even going so far as to move to another state while pregnant with the youngest to keep the oldest from him. She came back shortly before the youngest was born. Since then, she had only allowed supervised visits and only very infrequently. He saved up money and is now going through the court process for custody. He wants 50.50 joint physical and legal. He works week on week off so he will be able to be home with the kids all day on his weeks with them. However, we need help for school. We dont want to spend the money to go back to court once its time to enroll the oldest in school. He was physical address for school purposes, so does she but shes fighting for day visits only, no overnights. If he is awarded 50.50 custody, and since they live 45 minutes from each other, what do we do for school? The kids cannot be enrolled in a school halfway between both parents houses as our school system is based on where you live. We cannot enroll kids outside of our designated school district. Fiancé doesnt want to drive the kids to the school 45 minutes away and pick them up each day because he will need to be home to get the get the other 3 kids off the bus. rp >Ghost< *No Bashing Please*
