Mom update.... I know everyone is concerned and worried and i do appreciate all of your thoughtful text, post, visits, and calls. And so does she and dad. I have read every message to them and she smiles. I know she enjoys them. Mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. We dont know how progressed it is, we are waiting to be transferred to Lafayette General Hospital, and they will begin test ASAP, just waiting on a bed. Hopefully that will be today. The care she is recieving now in Breaux Bridge is amazing. A wonderful group. Each and every staff member has visited with her and has gone out of their way for her. Laurie Knott, Julian Knott, Courtney Fontenot, Amy Builliard, Dr. Degatur, each and every nurse and cna. I would recommend this place to anyone! She had some great visitors yesterday. Sheila, Vicki, Margaret, Aunt Pat, Kelly, and Fr. Brown. You guys made her day. The stories of your journeys have made her realize she does have hope. Thank you. Please continue to pray for mom and dad, keep them both in your thoughts. I also want to apologize to anyone that May think I have not given them news on mom. Most of the people that are concerned have called me, text me or sent messages. Im one person and I have been taking care of both mom and dad and my own family. As of now they are my only focus and I will do whatever I have to do to make things better for them. But again... To all of our sweet friends and family... Thank you for being so thoughtful. We all love you.😘
