Momma lets call Miss Sylvia (Avens precious birthmom whom we have never met nor do we have a way to contact her) and ask her if I have more brothers and sisters. So I have 3 moms? (Referring to birthmom, Guatemalan foster mom, and...me) . If you cant adopt from Guatemala anymore where are all the extra babies going? Maybe I have more Grandmas in Guatemala.. Momma, I want pale skin. Aven asked all of these questions today at various times. You would think that by now, after 3 multi-cultural adoptions etc, that these questions would not tear at your heart in 2000 different ways....but they still do. She is SO loved, and she knows this, but she is obviously churning ideas around in her sweet soul trying to fit the pieces together. I am finding that parenting is a journey without a destination sometimes...rather its a loop that you walk around many times until some things settle into the right spot.
