Mongolia is by far the most stunning country I have ever and I imagine, will ever step foot on. Around every corner is a scene more beautiful than the last. It is the last frontier when it comes to uninterrupted nature and genuine honest tradition. I fell in love with this place and know I will be back one of these days soon. Driving a vehicle completely unsuitable for the terrain, add in broken springs, an exhaust fashioned from an old tin can, a radiator patched together with tampons and no fan meant that most of the two weeks was spent broken down, tipped over or stuck in massive mud pits. Waking up in my tent to a spectacular view in the middle of absolutely nowhere, fun times with local kids and a group of pretty awesome people on my trip made it enjoyable despite everything going against us. The smiling cherub faces of the Mongolian people, the beauty of nature at its finest, the roaming livestock and the adventure of a country with no boundaries or roads makes this place so fascinating and grounding. I cannot wait to come back, this has been but a taste...
