Montgomery, Big news. With 48 days until the election, Jeb Bush was in Virginia Tuesday raising money for extremist Republican Ken Cuccinelli in his gubernatorial race against Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Bush is the latest of the usual suspects called in, because guess what? Republicans are seeing the same polls we are. Rasmussen’s latest found Terry up 45-38. The Tea Party knows that what they do in this moment, and what we do, will decide who wins. For us to defeat Cuccinelli, we have to broadcast our message to every corner of Virginia and protect every voter from sleazy suppression tactics. We can’t do any of that without raising $175,000 by September 30. Bush and the Kochs will make sure Cuccinelli has more than enough. Whether we can compete is up to you.
