More than 70 civilians were killed and dozens injured after the regime air forces shelled Al-Bab city, eastern Aleppo. 4 barrel bombs were dropped by the regime air forces on Al-Akateb Street, killing up to 70 civilians, and injuring dozens other, and causing large-scale destruction to residential buildings.Terror and shock dominated the scene in the city; mosques were calling people for blood donating; and filed hospitals were overcrowded with the dead bodies and the injured people amid severe shortage of medical supplies, and power and internet connection cut, Qasion News correspondent reported.Not too long after the regime aircrafts disappeared from the city sky, the US-Led Coalition forces shelled headquarters of ISIS, causing injuring to two civilians. That regime forces and the coalition forces shelled the city at about the same time raised many inquiries among civilians, the correspondent reported. Al-Bab town, which is 38 km to the east of Aleppo city, was under the control of the FSA before ISIS has seized it.It’s noteworthy that Al-Bab was of the first cities to rise against the Syrian Regime. The 4th of April 2011 witnessed the first protest in the city. Additionally, the city has always been characterized by the presence of political movement and parties like the Syrian Communist Party, nation-oriented movements and the Muslim Brotherhood.
