More updates from Toni Kendall Gramiak (Admin to BALA)i on Butterscotch that had been commented on my page. I will also be including a comment from Dawn Hanson, who is the executive director to FRFA (Feline Rescue Foundation of Alberta). From Toni 20 min ago, After Butterscotchs incredible change since yesterday, I am quite certain he was a tame pet & will be purring with human affection soon. The fear has left his eyes. He stretches & approaches when I enter the room. He rolls around & rubs up against whatever is nearest me. But he is frightened of my hands. He eats contently within 1 foot of me. But then he startles for no reason, as if he remembers he is not supposed to be so close to people. He is fighting his urge to snuggle up to me. This progress was within.24 hours. I am curious to see what the next 24 hours brings. He no longer looks like a mature, miserable cat. He looks like the young cat he is. There are moments I can see mischief in his eyes. Which explains the bug catcher stuck on his head:)
