More work on the arm in between honey-dos. Got the axle hole and the one the CW hanger attaches to drilled, and on dummy mounting they are near-enough perfect. The beam tip is centered in the frame when the beam is centered on the axle, no tilt to either side. The distance between the hole centers is also spot on. The CW has just enough clearance at the frame bottom as does the beam tip when cocked. I started screwing in the woodscrews, after drilling pilot holes for them and countersinking. Finished one area, ran out of screws for another, and am holding off on the third area while I deal with a problem with the wood. Its not staying flat, cupping slightly. Think Ill have to do something drastic like concocting a glue and filler combination, then clamping hard while inserting the screws. And maybe increasing the number of screws, though that might cause its own problems.
