Mornin Summit!!!! Wow! God is doing AMAZING things in and through Celebrate Recovery right here at Summit Heights!!!! (As if this should surprise anyone, right! He is mighty!!!!) So how is God blessing this ministry this week? I thought you would never ask! We are so excited that one of our sisters from New Beginnings CR is coming this Thursday! Krystle, CR leader and all-around awesome gal, will be sharing her testimony during large group at 7:00pm. Ive known this woman for about 1 1/2 years, and let me tell ya, you will be blessed by her story! CR will be back in its regular meeting place this week at our normal times.....6:00pm lite meal prepared by our very own in-house chef, Chef Lou (talk about a gifted cook? Dang! That man can rock a kitchen!). Well kick off our large group by gettin our worship on, singing His praises and opening our hearts to the Holy Spirit. Then we will settle in to receive a powerful message of pain, hurt, mercy, grace and the healing power of Our Father from our sister Krystle. At 8:00, we will divide into our gender-specific small groups where we will share our joys, sorrows, struggles, victories, hurts, etc., as we journey together through this thing called life on our way to restoration and healing! Summit Cafe will then open for business at 9:00 where we will have dessert, fellowship, talk, seek accountability partners, eat dessert, laugh, share, eat dessert and wrap things up at 9:30. Did I mention dessert at 9:00? Child care is provided free! This is 2 hours to focus on YOU with no interruptions! Friends, CR is a safe place, (confidentiality and anonymity are basic requirements and we stand on those guidelines) a place of healing, a place of support and encouragement, a 12-step program centered around our loving Savior. I invite each and every one of you, in fact I CHALLENGE you to come and experience a life change....you never know, this could be the one thing this summer that changes your life for eternity!
