Morning all Not a good start to the day, I am at Lincoln Crown Court later on on the Witness care support, and thought i would go on the Bike. ( easier to fight thru Lincolns Traffic). But need to change the handle bars on the Big One, as they too low and causing the arthritus in hands and shoulders too much grief. Not an Issue one thought, as I had recently brought some Handle Bars new of Ebay. So I stripped the old handle bars off, noticing that the electric switch gear screws had been tourqe sealed and and what looks like glue around the edges :( ( not as issue as have spares laying around, I was hoping to sell.) Tried to fit the new bars and they dont fit in my clamps - out comes the guages yep new handle bars are bloody 25mm !!!!!!!!!! not the 22mm I had ordered :(. On putting the old bars n stuff back noticed that the choke cable is badly worn inside the handle bar grip ( only 4 strands holding it) and its the one bloody cable ive not got laying around :( So now the Big Ones off the bloody road and will have to go in the bloody car!
