Most everyone out here in my neck of the woods knows me well, including the perhaps hundreds who are not clicked in as my FB Friends. And if you know my showbiz & advertising & even taxi-driving bkg., you must also know my passion for music. My father was a legendary harmonica player & composer/arranger, while I could barely carry a beat on my drums. Yet Ive mentored and promoted some pretty great musicians in my life, because I know greatness when I see it. And every frickin year I get really emotional over seeing new talent on these Idol-esque TV shows! Well sure enough, this young girl, Mara Justine, just blew me away this year! Heres her audition & other perfs on Americas Got Talent, and she shoulda won this entire contest! But, she WILL become a big star someday... I just wish it coulda been now. She deserved to win the whole dang thing (just as Jackie Evancho cdeserved to, a few yrs ago, but didnt... And 5 albums later, at just 15, shes not really concerned).
