Most of my peers are getting married and starting families. Congratulations to all of you. Im not attempting to discredit anyones happiness; please dont perceive it that way. I just find the variance of our paths extremely interesting. Our biological make-ups have driven us in entirely different directions. Yet, we are all so much like each other. I wake up some days craving what you all have or are cultivating, the significant others; the babies and the home. I also know that most of you wake up desiring to walk in my shoes (well, combat boots) for at least a moment of escape. You desire my freedom, daily achievements, and to see the places Ill see as I travel with the Navy. I guess what Im getting at is that I dont think we choose our own paths as much as we think we do. They choose us, and we choose to reject or accept it. Let life happen, and be happy 🙏🎶👌⚓️✈️🚁
