Most of the time I kinda like CBS Morning News, but they can totally be tools of the Machine (hey, its TV). In this interview, Jesse Ventura is essentially prosecuted for trying, and may I add, succeeding in clearing his name in court. The fact that American Sniper author Chris Kyle lied is secondary to some larger Narrative, such as, can we ever accuse a Hero, even if that Hero is a liar? Kyle was a liar, was caught numerous times in big lies, and fed a certain red-meat hunger in his readers. Yet we vilify a man who has served his country in a number of capacities. Weird.
