Most of the time we go before God in a prayer and ask him to make us like King David, King Solomon Ruth etc. We ask God to make us wealthy as the next door, as brilliant as a girl in class, as succesful as 0prah, to give us a house like of Bill Gates and so many other things each with a comparison. I personally believe that by making such prayers, we miss the whole point. HOW?? In life there are no 2 pple with the same life story. Be it siamese or even conjoined twins. Everyone has a devine and unique destiny and to reach there, each of us needs specific life. U could be a future leader asking God for a big house instead of what you actually need. Courage and wisdom could be a future inspiration figure always telling God to make you King Solomon, yet what u need is patience, Faith heart to reach your destiny coz God probably gave you ur portion of wisdom long ago. Instead of appearing b4 God asking Him to copy and paste other peoples destinies into ur lives, Lets start asking God to reveal to us who we were created 2b and give us what we need to reach there. After all King Solomon did not ask God to make him someone else, He asked God to give him what the king need to Succeed thats Wisdom, Gideon asked for Courage, David asked for Humility and Even Jesus himself asked his father in Heaven 4 devine Strength to fulfil his mission. None of the pple in the Bible asked God to make them like the person next. Each of them asked God to make them the Unique person they were meant to be.
