Most people dont know, but Ive lost many people I cared about due to drunk driving. So theyre not aware that this career Ive chosen and business I created is primarily for the point and purpose to prevent drunk driving and save lives. So they dont understand how much it personally insults me when I find out that someone who I know has my number programmed into their phone drives after drinking at all, or worse gets a DUI, or worse yet has an accident that hurts themselves, or even worst case, hurts or even kills other innocent people. Am I putting too much importance on what I do? Is it wrong to have passion for my chosen vocation? Do I put too much importance on prevention of drunk driving? Do I actually lose respect because Ive given up drinking to make sure Im always sober in case someone else needs me? Or am I just a silly guy that charges too much to drive a car? I really wonder how Im viewed sometimes when I hear stories about people I know driving drunk. I will say that its the surest and quickest way to lose my respect.
