Mount Pleasant Waterworks (MPW) will be upgrading the wastewater pump station located on Park West Boulevard beginning in November. The project is expected to be complete by Spring 2014. This is the pump station located next to The Sunshine House and caution not only those that regularly drive this area of Park West Boulevard, but also those who use this portion of the bike path as well. For any questions or concerns, please contact Mount Pleasant Waterworks. During this upgrade residents will notice large construction equipment in the area. At times several large trucks will be entering and exiting the construction site and may cause slight traffic delays along Park West Boulevard. Contractors will install security fencing to protect pedestrians traveling near the site. The construction site is located in close vicinity to the sidewalk. We ask that all residents be cautious when traveling near the site and that all parents remind children to stay clear of the construction taking place. After construction is completed the property will be restored to preconstruction conditions. While there will be some inconvenience to residents traveling along Park West Boulevard, MPW and our contractor, Anson Construction will do our best to minimize the impact .
