I understand the arguments of those who say its my right to drive in the left lane, and if someone wants to go faster than the speed limit, its not my problem. The problem is that it causes massive traffic jams and acts of total stupidity on the part of drivers in a hurry who end up weaving in and out of traffic to pass someone in the left lane who will not yield. Yes, the speeding drivers are breaking the law. Are you the police? Is it your job to enforce the speed limit? Nope. Your job is to drive defensively and at your own comfort level. If youre in the left lane and someone comes up behind you, or flashes their lights at you, just move over as soon as you safely can do so. Its not worth the stress, aggravation, or potentially deadly consequences of not doing so.
