Movie: Oldboy (2014) Starring: Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley, Samuel L. Jackson, and Elizabeth Olsen It seems as though the new theme in films is to mix themes or the feel of other films and this film is no different. A sharply original concept, Oldboy is an American adaptation of a South Korean hit from 2003. An interesting thriller, the film gives off the eerie feeling of Saw with fight scenes liken to Taken and the follow along of Seven. While the film left me with mix feelings the original nature and intense flow this film is a good pick for any fans of the thriller genre. If you are looking for something with a fresh feel this film will hold your attention recommend giving this Spike Lee film a go.
