Mr. Alfred apatang I write directing this message to you as an individual and as a registered voter of the island of rota. In defense of my uncle, Ricardo Songao Atalig, whom you politically campaigned on behalf of your mayoral candidate for rota. Mr. Apatang, where do you go off composing a campaign strategy about the personal lives of people? My uncle has served his time for the mistake he took responsibility for. we all learn from our past. Because you were once in office, I thought you would be smarter than to campaign against someone other than the candidate, about the pros and cons of his administration should he be seated in office, but obviously, your methods have clouded your judgements. You assume that the likelihood you will increase votes is by the strengths of your opinions? Chelu, your campaign lacks honesty, fairness and a clean political competition. Know and understand that before, during and after you leave office, YOU, friend, is still a public figure of the people of rota. You set an example to be a diligent citizen. I used to believe you were a great man of respect, statue and mannerism.. lesson learned, thank you for proving me wrong! People, politics should not be a bad thing! It should be about listening to both candidates sides of their arguments, making an ultimate decision that benefits both the government and the people. Locals from rota have just now re-entered the voting rooster after 5 years of false promises. Majority of these people just didnt care to vote anymore. And do you know why? Its because it starts with people like you, mr. Apatang. They think politics is just another low, nasty, corrupt and usually fruitless business. We have increased the voting numbers by the hundreds because of clean politics. What does that say about your tactics? I think its time you re-strategize and consider your campaign ideas chelu.
