Mr. Cozy (a.k.a BunBun) thought Mikas finger was an extension of the carrot she was feeding him. Mika cried and cried, kept saying, He bit me! I was paying attention but he still bit me! More than her finger hurting, I thought that her feelings were hurt by the bunny she loved so much. While we were attending to the wound, we explained to her that BunBun (and pet with similar facial structures) dont see things in front of their faces like we do, that it was all just an accident and so he didnt mean to bite her. She understood. So, with wound all bandaged she went down to see her beloved bunny and asked that yaya and I leave them alone. With tears in her eyes, she talked to the bunny quietly, petting him. Call me silly, but I thought BunBun looked remorseful. After Mika said, I think Bun was also crying. Mika and BunBun are now friends again. And yes, she still feeds him carrots and veggies by hand. :)
