Mr Divine Nchamukong is soliciting contributions on what could be done to fight corruption and mediocrity in Cameroon. Our advocacy in many forms like by such sharing is a way forward but we must complement such efforts with actions that rejects corruption. In as much as there is the corrupt, there is also the corrupter. Who is free from this. If we chose to be free from this by our acts and force initiators to aline then we are going to move forward. Mr Divine do you know though we decry corruption loudest in Cameroon i realized some countries we look onto like America is more corrupt but no body is talking about it. Check online on what is required for a foreign investor to do business in Cameroon and juxtaposition with America. You will realize the Cameroons business environment is more friendly. E.g. when a Cameroon business expert in cosmetology with a Cameroonian certification desires to extend his business to America, the American government requires he goes to an American school and redo the course to obtain Americas own certification wherein the school fees for a years course excluding students feeding, lodgement and transportation commonly exceed $24,050 whereas in Cameroon, an American cosmetologist foreign certificate is recognized and further exonerated from taxes for the first two years of operation with very open visa policy for the American and any number of his families or employees desired. Further more, should the foreign investor chose to study in America for the certification purpose. At the end of the studies he needs get residence authorization wherein he is forced to seek ass-ilium or contract a marriage with an American in other to make his way through if he must do business in America. In this dispensation which country is more corrupt or exploitative. An American complained to my office of poor services recorded at our embassy in Washington D.C because they had to cue out side and he said it was cold. When i told him that was a conventional practice because that is the same treatment Cameroonians receive at the U.S Embassy of Yaounde whether in rain or sun. Look at the number of Visa refuser of Cameroonians desiring to travel to the U.S without refund of interview fee though exaggeratedly high. whereas Cameroon will not refuse a U.S citizens entry into Cameroon even in the case of a delinquent with no interview fees. In-short i prefer an in house approach to our corruption scandal. We are not the worst.
