Mr. President, Although you claim you heard the voices of the American People who voted in the recent midterm elections (as well as those who did not - which makes no sense, and seems most dubious and self-serving to me), your recent statements and soon-to-be Executive Action regarding so called immigration reform seems to be 180° out of sync with the will and desire of a vast majority of the America People. Respectfully, Mr. President, you need to heed your own words of, Elections have consequences. and The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws. There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President. It is painfully obvious that you shall soon, in a completely partisan political act of malfeasance, skirt the letter of the law in order to violate the spirit and intent of the law regarding immigration. With all possible respect I say to you, Sir, that if you do go forward with this Executive Action you are unilaterally acting against the will and desire of the American People, and any last shred you and the Democrat Party may had remaining will be destroyed, and your legacy forever tarnished. I doubt you will ever read my words, and that if you did, you would not care one iota. You will do whatever you decide to be most politically expedient and not what is in the best interest of this nation and her Citizens. You, Sir, may occupy the White House, but you are no President of mine. You lost that last vestige of respect, even for your Office, when you decided to lash out against those who sent you a clear and present message during the recent midterm elections. What a wasted opprotunity to magnanimous and prove you are truly an AMERICAN President for the AMERICAN People. I would implore you to change course, but you will not, so I shall not. Do what your conscience and heart dictate. Please understand that we, the AMERICAN People shall do the same.
