Mr. Rat Mr. Rat is observing curiously the agriculture man and his wife from the split of the wall, they are opening a package. “Who knows what food was inside!? Mr. Rat imagines. But all of a sudden, he was frightened by the surprise because it was a trap for the mouse. He went outside in the barnyard announcing the new danger. “There is a mouse trap in our place! There is a mousetrap in our place!” Mrs. Hen who is clucking and scratching from the ground raised up her head and said; “Mr. Rat, seems it was a big problem for you but that is not important to me and I should not worry for it.” Mr. Rat turn to Mr. Pig and said; “There’s mousetrap here! There’s mousetrap here!” Mr. Pig shared his worriness and said to Mr. Rat, “ I could do nothing for this and for you Mr. Rat but I can pray for you. I promised, surely you’re in my prayers!” Then, Mr. Rat went to the cow and said; “ There’s mousetrap here! There’s mousetrap here!” “Wow! Mr. Rat, I am sorry for you but it was not my problem!” Mr. Rat return to the main house, sagged and demoralized because in the end, it was he to face all alone this mousetrap, his problem in Agriculture’s place. That same night, he heard a rumuor in all the house. It was like the sound of the trap who captured his prey. The wife of the agriculturist went to see if it catched something. But it was dark and she didn’t see that it was a serpent’s tail and it bit her. The agriculturist brought her immediately in the hospital but returned with her in high fever. Everybody knows that hot chicken broth is good for someone who has fever. So, the agriculturist went to the barnyard to get the principal ingredient for the soup. But the sickness of the wife becomes longer so the neighbors and visitors who attend night and day should be feed. To have enough food for all, the agriculturist, slaughtered the pig. But the wife was never been cured and then died. At the funeral, many attended and the agriculturist need the best beef to feed all. With all his loneliness, Mr. Rat observed this all from his split of the wall. Moral lesson: The next time you come to know that someone is facing a problem and think that it does not concern us personally, remember that if one of us is treathened, we are all at risk. We are all involved in this journey called life. We must have an available eyes to stare at each other and make every effort to help and encourage one another.
