Mt Evans was my first fall 14er! It was beautiful out there, plus I fell in snow waist deep, got wind burnt, bruises and scratches everywhere, fell and lost my boot in mud, wind gusts comparible to Hurricane Sandy, met some great new people from on here, and have tons of way more awesome pics to come, so you could say, the day was a success!! Even though Jenny Gonz and I got lost in some rugged terrain wilderness, I freaked out, and we were only roughly 20 feet from the summit and made the decision to turn around when the wind literally knocked us off our feet. Im definitely wanting to get into doing this more, with snow makes it way more fun and challenging!
