Mum once told us a story. There ws this girl Chioma by name,she ws pretty,tall,light in complexion & has evry figure any man will die for. Chioma had evry quality that qualifies the adjective goddess but she lacked one thing Respect Chioma doesnt respect or regard any one,not evn her own mother the only person she had little fear for was her father Mr Amadi(A retired soldier). At 19 suitors were already coming,but she turned evry one of them down. For that reason made her concernd mother an enemy cus she was advicing her to be careful wit the way she insults and humiliates men whenever they aproach her. But cus Chioma was a pretty goddess any man would rather have loads of insults than loosing her,so they kept coming. One day she went to the market there in the village to buy sumtn for her mother when a young man aproached her & greeted her,she looked @ him from head to tole hissed @ him & walked away. He exercised petient n waited for her til she was done. He walked to her again & greeted her,the next thing she did was to slap the young man there in the market in front of every one...........called him an idiot,pig,maggot & all sorts of names. Evrybody was shocked @ her act. The poor orphan wit a broken heart placed a curse on her that,frm today hence forth. Tears wil nevr depart frm u. May that thing dat makes you feel above evry man on earth be taken away frm you. No man wil ever call you wife. She laughed @ him & walked away. From that day hence forth Chiomas beauty startd fading rapidly. Those men askin for her hand in marriage all stopped coming. When mum was tellin us this story i was stil a kid. But guess what? Till date Chioma is still single. See, Do you wanna hear the truth? Most of us are the architect to our problem today. Some pple feel the world is beneath their feet. Cus you are beautiful? Handsome? Or wealthy? Cus of pride you see every one arround you as trash. Dear u need a change. Well i pray our story doesnt end like that of Chioma.
