Mum question: just wondering how you go about falling pregnant with Bub number two when you are not getting a period? Bub 1 is still breast feeding during the night. Also I have been told to stop feeding my 14 month old through the night because he doesnt need it. I find it hard to believe is my motherly instinct right. Thanks Pinky says: Your motherly instinct is spot on - your baby is probably going through some intense development and teething at the moment and breastfeeding is still a large part of his nutrition, comfort and immunity, if its not a problem for you, its not a problem. Its pretty common for periods to be delayed for around 15 to18 months or even longer. Pregnancy may happen but is less likely before the first period
