Muskegon Co. Undersheriff Dan Stout tells 1340 WJRW it’ll be up to a police task force to determine whether there may be a connection to two shooting deaths. Twenty-four-year-old Rayshun Day of Muskegon was shot in the head on June 24th in Muskegon Heights, and later died. And on Sunday, 36-year-old Becky Bletsch was shot in the head while jogging in Dalton Township. Police say a third fatal shooting the other day involving the death of motorcyclist Jake Rameau was not connected to the other two shootings. Police are awaiting forensic information about the bullet casings that were found in the Bletsch shooting, as well as autopsy & toxicology results.
