Muslims Worship the Ka’abah and black stone? Black stone was proven by NASA to be Meteorite sent from space?????????? • NASA confirms that the black stone was indeed sent from space. • Nothing holy about IN BLACK STONE. Its just a starting point for the tawaaf. • Mecca has the most infinite positive radiation on earth. • Kaabah is at the Centre of the World Map • Path to Mecca (Makkah) was called The Path of Holiness in Holly BIBLE in Isaiah 34 & 35 too. • 7 Time tawaf is also mentioned in many places in Holly Bible. Ka’abah is the Qibla i.e. the direction Muslims face during their prayers. It is important to note that though Muslims face the Ka’abah during prayers, they do not worship the Ka’abah. Muslims worship and bow to none but Allah. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, claimed that the stone was sent down by Allah Almighty to Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael, peace be upon both of them, to give the precise location of where the Kaaba was to be built by them. We, Muslim believe that Prophets Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba. The black stone was proven by NASA to be a Meteorite sent from space: Western Scientists have confirmed that the black stone, which resides near the Kaaba in the Holy City of Mecca, is an outside METEORITE OBJECT! Stars falling from the skies have been known since ancient times; rarely, stones are found that were tied to these shooting stars. One such rock has been venerated by Islam (in its encased shrine in Mecca) for more than 1300 years. By the 19th Century, meteorites were identified correctly as samples from other parts of the Solar System. They are part of the nearly 500 tons of extraterrestrial rock material that reaches and enters the atmosphere each day. Most of that material is burned up by friction from the high speed of entry but meteoric dust can remain in the air and a very few individual blocks of material survive this passage to fall in the sea or on the ground as meteorites. The second city of Saudi Arabia is Mecca which contains the holiest shrine in Islam, a great plaza with a rectangular structure containing a meteorite that is considered to have fallen into the Muslim world directly from Heaven. Devout Muslims make the Hajj, a pilgrimage to this shrine required at least once in a lifetime. Here it is as seen in a Quickbird image: 1. Islam believes in fostering Unity For instance, if Muslims want to offer Salaah (Prayer), it is possible that some may wish to face north, while some may wish to face south. In order to unite Muslims in their worship of the One True God, Muslims, wherever they may be, are asked to face in only one direction i.e. towards the Ka’abah. If some Muslims live towards the west of the Ka’abah they face the east. Similarly if they live towards the east of the Ka’abah they face the west. We worship GOD Almighty in the direction of His Grand Temple/House. We never worship the Temple/House itself. The Bibles Prophets in the Bible also had a House of GOD Almighty that they worshiped Him in. Also, the Jews wailing wall today is a similar example to the Muslims Kaaba, where the Jews pray to GOD Almighty facing the wall. The Bible also says: I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 138:2)” GOD Almightys Holy Temple in Islam is the Kaaba in Mecca. You must bow down in humility to GOD Almighty. Thats a must and a given. So, you must physically bow down somewhere, and naturally to some direction! If you were to do it right now, you would be bowing towards a random direction. Your physical presence on earth forces this upon you as a prostrating Believer to GOD Almighty, whether you like it or not. The bowing down to GOD Almighty in the direction of the Kaaba, or the city of Mecca in general, is a way to unify all Muslims to bow down to GOD Almighty, as one body and one unity, towards one direction and towards His Holy Temple. As to worshiping the cubic black building, the Kaaba, we absolutely do not worship it. The Prophet of Islam said that the spilling OF A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD from a Believer is more dearer to Allah Almighty than the demolishing of the entire Kaaba. In other words, a single drop of blood from a Muslim Believer is more dearer to Allah Almighty than the entire black cubic building: لهدم الكعبة حجراً حجراً أهون من قتل المسلم Demolishing the Kaaba completely is much more preferred to Allah Almighty than shedding the blood of a Believing Muslim. (Source) So it is not something we worship. It is only a point and a direction that brings us together as one We worship GOD Almighty in the direction of His Grand Temple/House. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 138:2) 2. Kaabah is at the Centre of the World Map ? The Muslims were the first people to draw the map of the world. They drew the map with the south facing upwards and north downwards. The Ka’abah was at the centre. Later, western cartographers drew the map upside down with the north facing upwards and south downwards. Yet, Alhamdullilah the Ka’abah is yet at the centre of the world map. 3. Tawaf around Ka’abah for indicating one God When the Muslims go to Masjid-e-Haram in Makkah, they perform tawaf or circumambulation round the Ka’abah. This act symbolizes the belief and worship of One God, since, just as every circle has one centre, so also there is only one Allah (swt) worthy of worship. 4. Hadith of Umar (Pbuh) Regarding the black stone, hajr-e-aswat, there is a hadith (tradition), attributed to the illustrious companion of the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), Umar (RA). According to Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, book of Hajj, chapter 56, H.No. 675. Umar (RA) said, know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet (Pbuh) touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you. 5. People stood on Kaabah and gave the adhaan At the time of the Prophet people even stood on the Ka’abah and gave the adhan or the call to prayer. One may ask those who allege that Muslims worship the Ka’abah, which idol worshipper stands on the idol he worships? Further Explanation Having been to Mecca and stayed in Saudi Arabica will answer this based both on history and my own experiences. The Black Stone(Hajar al- Aswad) is NOT mentioned in the Quran. The Black Stone is located about five feet from the ground on the East corner of the Kaaba (this corner is known as al-rukn al-Aswad). While there are traditions about kissing or touching the Stone, its real significance is as marker of the point at which one starts the Tawaaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba as part of hajj or omra.) Even the traditions which talk about kissing or touching the stone are VERY CLEAR that the Stone is JUST A STONE! BUKHARI, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 667 says, The Stone is not be worshiped or regarded as anything but a marker. Its just a starting point for the tawaaf. (At hajj time you are actually unlikely to see the Black Stone: Masjid Al-Haram is just two crowded. There is a line on the floor of the Masjid to tell you where the line of the Black Stone is. Many hajis must perform Tawaaf NOT on the Kaaba floor but on the SECOND OR THIRD STORIES of the Majid Al-Haram! On Levels #2 and #3 there are both marks on the floor and neon lights to show you where to start and stop tawaaf. The scholars agree that waving in the direction of the Black Stone is sufficient recognition of its location as the start and stop of Tawaaf. In actuality, waving in direction of the Black Stone is the best you will probably do at hajj time) The Black Stone has had an interesting history during the Islamic period. In 930 AD a ruler of Bahrain - who belonged to a branch of Ismailism known as the Karmatians - sacked Makkah and carried the Black Stone away for some 70 years until it was ransomed. In the process, the Black Stone was cracked. It is now held together by a silver band. The fact that Islam was able to function without the Black Stone for 70 years is one of the best illustrations that it is but a marker for Tawaaf - and NOT an object of worship.
