Must be time for some new photos and a proper update after a rather hectic week of the boys being media stars.... Really everything is ticking along, were in a sort of a routine and both babies are progressing well. Catherine took some swabs of Berts eye today, and popped some dye into it so we could see if the ulcer was better or worse. Great news on that front is that its reduced in size by half at least. Its still cloudy and still has a long way to go but I feel better about it. Bert is a legend to do anything with and has grown SO much. He is a very chubby wee guy now thats for sure. Ellie is much more tolerant of Ernie as of today. She still doesnt like him much but she toletates him near her as long as Im out there. The boys spent a good deal of time tearing round together today and Ernie is getting braver with the others. Darling Ernie, who has quite literally stolen the hearts of the Nation, is just a happy little soul who picks at my herb garden outside, argues with Finn over toys inside and loves nothing more than to get cuddled up with a story in the evenings. Hes doing really well. A few colicky moments still and his legs are taking ages to strengthen. At this stage it is looking like 1 little front leg might need minor surgery to correct the issue. Hes pretty much outside all day if its warm and by next week will be moved out completely (dont tell him just yet) as hes very nearly a normal baby.... So a great report really. Enjoy the photos!
