My 18 year old and my 15 year old daughter just got into a small - TopicsExpress

My 18 year old and my 15 year old daughter just got into a small fender bender in Middletown on 299. They are ok....they were approaching a red light going about 10 miles an hour and slowing when my 18 year olds brakes stopped working and she hit the pick up truck in front of her. The gentleman in the pick up truck got out of his truck, looked at both vehicles, walked to my daughter and told her you just hit the wrong guy. Come to find out he is an off duty police officer (I believe state trooper). It makes me sick to my stomach that instead of checking to make sure no one was injured and remaining professional, he choose to intimidate/threaten my daughters and have them in tears by the time I arrived to the scene. Then the next trooper he called shows up and they both sit there and laugh and dont even talk to my daughter. She has never had an accident, never had a ticket, was going 10 miles an hour and her brakes gave out! I know she will get a ticket and I respect that. What I dont respect is that fact that just because you our a police officer you can treat her with such disrespect and threaten her about hitting the wrong guy. Then when I was leaving the scene he took a picture of my car, which wasnt even involved in the accident. So beyond heart broken. In my line of work, I care for everyone, rich people, poor people, drug addicts, police officers, and everyone else in between. I am a professional and carry myself as a professional at all times. My profession and other professions, such as police work, does not permit us to act unprofessional, even when we are off duty! I would like to report this gentlemans behavior. If anyone knows how I would go about doing this, I would really appreciate the help.
