My FB friend Doug Blank knew I had been looking for a tape of this 1990 Shellzone/Truck Guard race from Road Atlanta and he just found it and forwarded it to me. The trucks in this series were not fast in a straight line and easy to drive, but it was a real blast to go head-to-head with good drivers with relatively equal equipment. Bob Varsha and Jack Baldwin call the action in what turns out to be one of my favorite races I didnt win. I think Scott Gaylord and Ray Kong were just playing with me, but it made for great television! The best part is, this is the original Road Atlanta--no parking lot corners before Turn 11. If you fast forward the commercials, this will still take 25 minutes of your time, but if you watch it and didnt enjoy it, Ill owe you a dollar:)
