My Grandfather was killed in action on August 12, 1944 in the normandy battle and is buried in France. His mother died when he was 2 years old and hence was raised by his maternal grandparents. He was an only child (or so we thought) and ended up having a family of 7 with my mother. A few years ago my cousin Sheila Musqua Keewatin was visiting an aunt of my dads and she told her that my dad had a brother from another gal. My dad was very excited and we have been searching for him ever since. But to no avail. On this remembrance day I received a private message from a woman who told me she was the daughter of my fathers brother! Unfortunately he has passed away some time ago. But we have found our long lost family! I am so excited, as is my dad and I am sure the rest of my family to get to know our long lost family!
