My Observations while i sit here in the sun on sales success, it always amazes me how work ethic and brand loyalty doesnt just influence the consumer but ultimately the employee and their commitment to achieve success for the employer. New generation sales people generally lack hunger instead seeking reward first, I have never seen a lion invite a zebra to dinner where the zebra accepted the invitation. In my view sales success is a numbers game and an integrity ethnic. 1. Do what you say, dont say what you do 2. Set goals, plan, execute and review 3. Prospect always look for new business 4. Say hi, you never know where that will lead 5. Follow up and always have something useful to talk about 6. No really does mean no but it can be changed to yes (be a good listener) 7. Be sympathetic to the needs of the customer but accountable to your business 8. If its your business make the decisions and stand by you strategy, dont build someone elses dream with your money. 9. Plan for failure to mitigate risk 10. Have fun and be professional its important to live to work not work to live. Stephen Julian
