My Saturday morning diatribe to the remaining Obama sycophants. President Obama promised "If you like your current health care plan, you can keep your plan?” That is simply not true. Major insurance companies, CIGNA, Aetna, etc. are abandoning state after state (Aetna just announced they are leaving NJ this week) leaving their customers to find other coverage and other doctors. But those doctors are either leaving their practice, going concierge or simply taking only cash payments. President Obama promised "There will be no rise in your healthcare costs" That was not true. In fact how does up to an 80% increase in premiums sound? carolinajournal/exclusives/display_exclusive.html?id=10469 But dont worry...Those of us who work get screwed TWICE in the deal....Our costs go up AND we get to PAY EXTRA TAXES to support incentives that lower the costs for low income families. So the government, once again, puts the costs of its unwanted programs on the backs of the ever disappearing worker. But wait....it gets better. Obamacare now expands Medicaid benefits to those at 138% of the poverty line. Do you know why? Because right now 49% of Americans receive a government subsidy. Increasing the Medicaid poverty line pushes that number over 50%. A bought and paid for voting block. Company after company have made the decision to either let go of full time employees and use only part time workers or simply cut all benefits and pay the $2K fine rather than $10,000+ in government mandated health care. UVA, UPS, Delta and so many other companies have kicked spouses off their coverage. The unions that were duped by Obama have now abandoned him. Yet this goes on and on. This government, on both sides of the aisle, is out of control. From IRS targeting to phone spying our freedoms are being stripped away....and now there is an ENTIRELY NEW FEDERAL AGENCY THAT DOES NOTHING BUT TRACK THE PUBLICS CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS!!!! Like with so many other things....President Obama and the Democrats in Congress lied. Now the Republicans are too weak to defund this "train wreck" (Democratic Senator Max Baucus). Its time they all go away and the American people are, once again, governed within the confines of the Constitution.
