My attention was caught today by Joe Forest as he ran down to the Amador Clubhouse to let me know that a Golfer was hurt on the course. I guess Joe saw the whole thing go down but apparently the guy on hole 14 got his disc stuck in a tree 30 up and decided to climb up to get it. Needless to say he fell out of the tree, severely injured himself breaking his hip, ankle and possibly even his back. He was life flighted out so lets hope that all is ok. I just wanted to remind everyone that a disc is still just a piece of plastic and not worth endangering yourself to recover in certain circumstances. Please call down to the Clubhouse or get ahold of me somehow and I will gladly come shoot it down with my slingshot. The course has been very slippery lately with all the foggy weather so watch your step and be careful!
