My bicycle crash. I have recognized a little malfunction of the rear tire with the chain dismoving from a gear wheel about two days before my crash at Oberpurbach hill happened on Oct. 3, 2000. I wanted to drive to town to buy a computer journal but was not able when I made this decision to remember the problem so I started to go on biking downhill. It was rather fast, about 30 km / hour when I treated the handbrakes so the chain dismoved again to block the rear tire completely and I had to lose the balance to crash overhead sideways onto the street with the head going to the tar. Luckily my skull was not broken but the petrosal bone and the limbic organ including the left hear sensory to be all treated in Bayreuth then so there is now no pain left but no recovery possible, though. Fortunately I was insured on a private basis to be later able to purchase a new small car. - hfp DTT
