My brother warned me against it but I went ahead and fed these little Toritos to the wolves in todays one day tournament in Pico. We got outscored in 3 games by 30+ runs. With alot of new faces coming on board from rec basebal that transition is always a slow and delicate one, especially with the pitching they see in this type of environment. Some kids never seen a ball move so much. All you can do is smile, maybe pull some of the hair you might have left on your head and welcome them to travel baseball. It looks like it will be a long road ahead for the Toritos but we are looking forward to the challenge and seeing these boys grow... 1,2,3...TOROS!
