My church sign calendar today says: God never takes the easy way out. God says: Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 1 John 3:9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for Gods seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. John 14:15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. Luke 13:3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. If God took the easy way we probably would never have been created. That took a lot of work even for God. With evil released into this world and the free will He gave us there is a battle every second for souls. Because God loves & cares for everyone of us He does not just sit on the sidelines watching. When we call upon Him He is instantly there by our side. Through Jesus and the Holy Spirit God is constantly at work helping us in finding and staying on the narrow road to our Father in Heaven. God sets the example for all of us to follow. We must also be diligent in our faith and our walk and keep God close by our side.
