My cousin (whom I totally respect) posted this on his page and questioned why anyone would be interested in this type of thing? This was my answer to him- I totally understand why people go for this type of thing. It is because we are so tired of the hypocrites we see leading many of our Christian churches these days. I have quit calling myself a Christian for that very reason. The radical religious right has turned Christianity into everything except what Jesus intended for it to be. I would like to think I follow the theology of Christ, but please dont call me a Christian. And this whole concept- Good is Great would thrill Christ if he were here with us today. I have often asked myself (of late) if Jesus were with us today if he would even call himself a Christian? Most times- I think not. Rather- I think he might be affiliated with folks like this bunch who simply live life to the fullest in this (his) Garden of Eden and do good for others and the planet.
