My directives for a better democracy. 1) Maximum age limit of the candidate should be 75. 2) Candidate should be a degree holder from a recognized university. 3) He/she should not be a person with any criminal background, should not be an accused with criminal offences. He/she should be terminated with immediate effect if found accused in any criminal case during his/her incumbency as an MP. 4) Supreme court should devise for an institution to cater knowledge in the field of constitution, laws, responsibility of a public- servant etc. All the elected members should be given mandatory training in this context. 5) He/she should be proficient in Hindi & English. 6) Gateway should be processed online/ offline once in a specific period , say monthly for hearing peoples grievances. Apart from this, there should be an exclusive interactive session for the poor and needy. 7)The elected MP should establish an office in his/her constituency, with adequate staff and facility to hear peoples grievances. 8) People should be given the right to reject/ retract the MP for his/her poor performance. 9) Politicians found guilty of corruption charges or scams should refund the amount that has lost for the exchequer, apart from the punishment as per courts judgement. 10) Fund allocated for the MPs should be efficiently used, and the details are to be made public. 11) MP salary should be hiked, to be more professional and dedicated in his/her duty. 12) The elected representative should not hold any other portfolio in any of the private organisation, He/she should be an exclusive public servant during incumbency. 13) Candidate who lost two times in a row should not be allowed to contest for the third time. 14) An exclusive commission should be setup by the Supreme Court to evaluate the performance of the MPs, and the annual report should be made available for the public. 15) If NOTA counts for more votes in a constituency, re-election should be done by barring the already-contest ed candidates. 16) Aadhaar service should be developed to create exclusive online accounts for every citizen, thus e-governance should be put in practice.
